In 4G LTE technology, different protocols are present in Radio Access Network (RAN) to enable the communication between user and network.

In this section, all three protocol layers of RAN are covered – Layer 1 (Physical layer), Layer 2 (RLC - Radio Link control) protocol, MAC - Medium Access control) protocol, PDCP - Packet data convergence protocol), & Layer 3 (RRC (Radio resource control) protocol along with the simulations to understand them in detail.
